Buffalo & Plains Game Safari in Mozambique

Our hunting area covers 125 000 ha in the province of Tete in Mozambique (see attached map) where there are very good buffalo, sable antelope, impala, warthog, chobe bushbuck, common duiker, sharpes grysbuck, crocodile and hippo trophies. We also encounter a large number of Kudu, Livingstone Eland and Waterbuck. Although we don't have a quota yet, we will most likely also encounter horse antelopes. However, this is a very large hunting area where the game moves frequently. Our accommodation on the banks of the Mussenguezi River, which flows into the Cahora Bassa, offers breathtaking sunsets followed by relaxing evenings around a Mopane wood campfire. You can also enjoy tiger fishing with the help of local fishermen. We have fishing gear in the camp and the locals are excellent fishing guides.

Big Four hunting in Tanzania

The hunting ground is located in Masailand, “Irkiushiobor Concession” and borders the Tarangire National Park in North and Mkun-gunero game reserve in the South East of concession. The hunting area consists of 1868 sq.km of total land for hunting activities. The area is covered by bushes and small plains.
Game species available in our area and guarantees “buffalo-very wide, white-bearded wildebeest, Grant Gazelle, Steenbok, Impala East African, Oryx, Gerenuk, Dik-dik, Zebra, Coke’s Hartebeest, Big Leopard, Lion, Elephant, Peterson Eland, Waterbuck, Hyena (Spotted and Striped), Ostrich, Greater kudu, Lesser Kudu, Bushpig, Klipspringer, Warthog, etc.
This is a great place to take your family. There are very few insects and they will also be able to enjoy the culture of Maasai people and Maasai Boma.
If there is a hunt that truly represents an African Safari, it has to be in vast, unfenced areas. There is no bigger, better or more diverse natural wilderness habitat than in Tanzania. Areas remain unchanged since the early scramble for Africa, probably the only place you can truly walk back in time and experience what legendary hunters did.

Arrival
You can get to Bishkek from any international airport. We also recommend a flight from Istanbul to Bishkek to Manas airport.
After the arrival of the hunter at Manas airport in Bishkek, we will pick up the guests at the airport and assist them with immigration and customs clearance. Then we will drive to the camp in comfortable cars. The driving time is about 7-8 hours with stops for a snack.
Accommodation type: Tent
Accommodation
The guests have a comfortable base camp at 3200 meters above sea level at their disposal. Despite the distance of the camp from the settlements, deliveries of fresh food are organized. There is a high quality dining room where professional kitchen staff tries to satisfy all possible wishes for individual meals. The camp consists of a high comfort container and a bathroom, the guest house is heated by central heating. There is also a sauna for your free disposal.
During the hunt for the desired game species the hunters stay in tents or farmhouses, as the hunting grounds are located many hours on horseback from base camp.

Import and export permit (weapons)
In order to be able to hunt with your own weapon while hunting in the Republic of Belarus, an import and export permit is required.
In order to obtain this permit, the hunter must send a copy of his passport, hunting license and permit for hunting weapons (in the EU the EU firearms pass) to support@huntingtrip24.com after booking. It then takes about a week for the permit to be issued.
Rented weapons in Belarus
If the hunter wants to use a rental firearm, if possible, in Belarus, he/she has to send a copy of his/her passport and hunting permit to support@huntingtrip24.com.
Furthermore, you have to take the original of all documents of the hunter to Belarus, otherwise they are not allowed to hunt.
Equipment
There are no special requirements for the equipment for this hunt. Clothing should be adapted to the winter. In December, it can easily be -20 degrees with an easterly wind, so you should take warm, windproof and breathable clothing. Of course, they should not be too thick, as you will be stalking all day! As there is a lot of stalking, well-broken-in footwear with a treaded sole with good grip is advisable.
Trophy preparation
Hunting a bison is certainly one of the highlights of a hunter's life. Rare is such a trophy and, above all, impressive. It is always an eye-catcher.
Importation into the Schengen states is problem-free, all other states the respective hunter must clarify the importation of the trophy before hunting.

Information for the entry:
- Passport (must be valid for at least another 6 months at entry)
- EU Firearms Pass (Hunters from Europe)
- Hunting weapon, calibre and number of ammunition
- Hunting invitation
- The entry into Zimbabwe normally requires a visa. The formalities depend on your home country, please check with your embassy.
- In general the visa is easily obtained at Bulawayo airport.
- If you wish to travel to Zimbabwe, you should inform yourself in advance about any vaccinations that may be required. In addition to the recommended diphtheria, polio and tetanus vaccinations, these include the generally recommended travel vaccinations against Hepatitis -A and B - and the thyphus vaccination. Depending on the type of travel and route, rabies vaccination may be recommended, and you should also seek advice on malaria prophylaxis.
Other information:
- The choice of weapons is at the discretion of our guests, but for successful hunting of certain species a minimum calibre is necessary.
- For hunting large, thick-skinned animals such as elephants or buffalo you will need a rifle with a minimum caliber .375 Win. Mag.
- For hunting steppe game a caliber 30-06 and upwards.
- Please bring enough ammunition with you, as it is difficult to buy it locally.
- It may surprise many that it is not as hot in Zimbabwe as the geographical latitude would suggest. This is despite the fact that the country is entirely in the tropics. However, Zimbabwe is situated on a plateau, which is 900 m above sea level on average and therefore has a pleasantly mild climate in the dry season.
- Winter (May to October) is similar to the Mediterranean spring with warm, sunny days and cool, clear nights. It never snows, but night frosts and temperatures below freezing point are not uncommon on the plateau.
- As daytime temperatures are moderate throughout the year, we recommend light, bright clothing. However, camouflage clothing is prohibited by law. The shoes should be comfortable and well broken in. During the winter (May to mid-August) the nights can be surprisingly cold, so warm clothing is required for the evenings in the camp.
- Also remember to bring binoculars, camera, sunglasses, sunscreen, mosquito protection and caps, as well as your personal health care.
- Bowhunting is allowed in Zimbabwe
- Rental weapon USD 35,- per day, ammunition will be charged according to consumption
- Hunting for leopard and elephant requires the presence of a National Park Officer and therefore there is a daily additional cost of USD 85,-.
2% Government Levy of the total amount
Trophy supply and transport:
- Your trophies will be handled professionally and stored in the warehouse.
- Preparation and packing flat rate USD 700,-
- Packing and export of the trophies is organized by us and is done by a professional freight company.
Export and import bans:
- No elephant can be imported into the United States

The ranch consists of five cottages, two of which are reserved for our hunting guests. The cottages are massive and absolutely clean, equipped with a comfortable double bed, bathroom with hot and cold running water, flush toilet and two showers, one of them outdoors. Daily laundry service is part of our offer. We offer a daily changing menu, cold local beer and local wines are a matter of course.
