Brown bear hunting is carried out in 8 hunting grounds in the foothills and in 2 hunting grounds on the coast. The total area of the hunting grounds is 4,652,233 hectares. All territories are located in the central part west and east of the low mountain range of Kamchatka Peninsula. There are 7 stationary camps in these locations. We open 4-5, rarely 6 campsites every year. The location of the camps each year depends on the concentration of bears and the condition of the snow cover. Most of our camps are equipped with wooden cabins with wood stoves, separate dining rooms, bathhouse/shower rooms, toilets, satellite internet and telephone. But sometimes we pitch a tent camp just before the hunt.

The stalking guide tries to get the hunter within good shooting distance of the animal. The shooting distance on the bear is between 50-200 meters. Koryak snow sheep hunting is carried out in three hunting grounds in the mountains, two of which are located in the heart of the Koryak highlands (Mount Ledyanaya, 2453 m) on the border between Kamchatka and the Chukotka Autonomous Region. The total area of the hunting grounds is almost 2,906,963 hectares. At the same time we are just opening 2 mobile camps. We choose the locations every year. They depend on where and how the animals migrate and have their roosts. Each camp is equipped with warm, wind and waterproof tents with a separate canteen, bathhouse/shower and satellite phones.

The Koriak snow sheep is found in the northern Koriak Mountains and is the dwarf form of the Kamchatka snow sheep. The two sheep are similar in coloration. In general, it can be said that the Koryak snow sheep is much more compact than the related sheep living in the south.

The hunting season starts on August 1 and ends on September 30. The best hunting season is from the 25th of August. If you book the trip at the end of August, you can combine the hunt for the snow sheep very well with a hunt for the brown bear.

The hunting ground is located in the Republic of Sakha, Yakutia. The hunting ground covers 90,000 ha and is located in the mountainous region of the Verkoyansky Ridge in the northeast of Yakutia, 400 km from the capital Yakutsk.

Our hunting camp is located at an altitude of 480m above sea level.

We have been hunting Yakut snow sheep since 2000, which has given the hunters very good experience to hunt the sheep.

The Yakut snow sheep (Ovis nivicola lydekkeri) is very similar to the Okhotsk snow sheep. The sheep have a body length of about 140-160 cm; shoulder height is 93-108 cm; weight is 60 to 120 kg. Yakut snow sheep differ from other subspecies with lighter coat color. The front sides of the legs are chocolate brown, while the rear edges usually have whitish markings. A dark line running between the lights and across the eyer to the nose is very visible on the white coat color of the forehead. The horns grow in rams up to 100 cm. The horns of this subspecies are slightly shorter and thinner than in other snow sheep. Distribution of these sheep in the Yakutia region of Siberia from the Lena River, including the Verkhoyansk, Chersk, Moma, Kolyma and other mountain ridges. All sheep in the Yakutia region are considered Yakut snow sheep. Within the Magadan region, the eastern border is the Kolyma River until it intersects with the southern route of the Trans-Siberian Highway.

Hunting for snow sheep requires a good physical preparation. A car is used to drive as far as possible and from then on you stalk in the mountains. A stalk can easily cover 5-10 km. Sometimes you will be stalking all day - food, tea and sandwiches are prepared for the hunters. When the trophy is found, the stalking guide evaluates the trophy and gives permission to shoot. Shooting without the permission of the stalking guide is strictly forbidden.

Turkey has developed in the last 25 years to a paradise for the sow hunter with best chances to shoot a strong and mature boar.

We hunt mainly for strong boar in an area near Antalya, but we can also hunt all other game species that are found in Turkey.  In the Black Sea region there are numerous areas with excellent populations of strong boar. Therefore, hunting will not be limited to only one area, but will also move to other areas.

The low hunting pressure leads to great density and provides an opportunity to hunt very strong boars. The local hunters also spend a lot of time watching the hogs and all know when the sows are on the move.

The terrain, since it is agricultural, is mostly flat and easy to walk on. However, it is important to move quietly and unobtrusively. The stalks are not too long, so several fields and stanchions can be hunted in one night.

It is also possible to combine the hunt for strong boar with a family vacation. The family will stay in a hotel by the sea, from where they can enjoy the beautiful beaches and the hospitality of the locals. Then, in the late afternoon, the hunter will be picked up at the hotel and driven to the nearby hunting grounds and returned to the hotel after the hunt.

Hunting Description:

Hunting is possible both as a stalk or a hide, according to the wishes and condition of the hunter. As a rule, hunting takes place during the evening and night hours. The hunting guide will pick you up daily at the hotel and take you to the hunting area, where the vehicle will be parked near fields and the stalking will begin.

The best time to hunt for strong boar in the Black Sea region is from April to October. In the Mediterranean region near Antalya, both stalking and sitting can be done. The moon phase should also be taken into consideration for all dates, as this makes this delightful hunt many times more exciting.

During the spring hunt, each hunter has a snowmobile at his disposal with which the bears will be searched in the territory.

If a bear is seen, this will be evaluated by the guide and only after its approval could be hunted.

Without the approval od the guide the hunting and shooting of a bear is prohibited.

The bear hunting in autumn is mainly carried out through stalking and kiir hunting. Besides this, the hunting will be carried out with a dinghy along the rivers. The hunting guides are the ones that will decide which hunt is the most promising. During the autumn we use UAZ-469 (Russian cross-country vehicles) for our transportation in the hunting ground.
